Huskies Thwarted by Squirrel

These days, it seems there's nothing too feeble for the Huskies.  The official mascot, "Spirit the Dawg," has injured itself in a duel with a squirrel.  Ever see a Cougar lose such a battle?
 
The Seattle Times writes: 
 
A spokesman explained that Spirit, an Alaskan Malamute, was injured while apparently chasing a squirrel and then stepping into a hole. Spirit will not attend today's game against BYU, and it is unclear how long he will be sidelined. 
 
 
Any chance this mutt, like all other fans of the team this season, just decided it has better things to do with its Saturday?
