Sarkisian commits second recruiting violation this week
Steve Sarkisian, embattled head coach of the Washington Huskies, is under investigation for his second recruiting violation this week. Fresh off the heels of his first, a violation regarding a simulated gameday experience, Coach Sarkisian hit the trail again to continue his path of destruction. This time, the violation involes an LA Times article written about Sharkisian's sleazy practice of bidding a player simply to try and sign his close friend. Sleazy is one thing, but Sark took it into the realm of NCAA violation by having the LA Times participate in the recruiting visit. According to the NCAA, "a member institution shall not permit a media entity to be present during any recruiting contact made by an institution's coaching staff member." Are you kidding me? This clown hasn't even coached a scrimmage yet and he's already got two violations under his belt? At this pace, he's on track to quickly become one of HuskiesSuck.com's favoriate all-time coaches. It's bad enough that he stoops to the sleazy level of package-bids, but sleazy and UW coaching have certainly been in the same sentance before. Then again, so has "cheating" been a common phrase associated with "UW Football." Is there any chance that Sark could get fired before his first game as head coach? Where would that leave the program, after a winless 0-12 season and failed off-season pursuit of a premier head coach? One can only imagine, but then again, I think I prefer the alternative: Scott Woodward, if you're out there, please let this guy bring your program down. Please let him stay long enough to get your program the "Death Penalty" or at least another lack of institutional control violation. Please let him take your reputation from out of the mud, and into the pile of 'dawg shit.'
