Huskies 2009 Recruiting Class Meets Program's StandardsWednesday was National Letter of Intent day, and the UW Huskies, fresh off their stunning 0-12 Winless season, today announced a recruiting class of equal standards. Clocking in at 18 commits (including the Punter), the Huskies swung and missed on just about every guy they were competing on as the clock wound down. With none higher than 3 stars according to Scout.com, the website that blew the whistle on the pups recruiting violations (not to mention banning yours truly from the message boards) has the Huskies ranked last in the Pac-10. Right at home. Nationally, Scout has them at 66th, wedged in between SMU and Indiana. So what does Coach Sark think about all this? "We were a 'C,' " Sarkisian said. "We were average. We should be better." Nice. So not only have you alienated your fanbase by pulling in a mediocre recruiting class, you've now alienated your recruiting class by telling the media they're mediocre. Go, Sark, Go!
