Michalczik Sees Writing on the Wall, Bails

 Jim Michalczik, Coach Sarkisian's first hire of his coaching staff, has decided that he didn't like what he saw in the UW program, and has decided to leave for a vastly superior place for coaches: the Oakland Raiders.  

Michalczik apparently saw through the Purplue-hued goggles right into the belly of the beast.  Cheesy recruiting tactics, sleazy recriting practices, NCAA violations, no future, and being paid just half of what this guy makes, all must've pushed Michalczik over the edge.  

 Think about it.  The guy so desperately felt he had to get out that he went to perhaps the single worst place for a football coach to go-- virtually committing career suicide in the process-- just so he wouldn't have his name associated with this pack of clowns and the boy-wonder's grand vision.  

 All of this points a smoking gun squarly at Sarkheisel.  Let's take a look at his accomplishments since becoming UW head coach:

• Won Rose Bowl (with USC)
• Hired inexperienced DC who had losing history... at Idaho
• Committed recruiting violation by simulating game-day experience
• Committed douchy recruting practice by simulating game-day experience
• Committed recruiting violation by meeting with HS junior off campus
• Committed recruiting violoation by allowing media to participate in recruiting visit
• Committed douchy recruiting practice by "package bidding" a lesser player in attempt to land his buddy
• Signed the Pac-10's worst recruiting class
• Alienated his new players, the Pac-10's worst, by calling them "average," and grading them a "C" and going on about how poor he did in recuriting them
• Scared off his WR coach two weeks into the job
• Scared off his OC and OL coach, after long enough to get a good look at the direction of the program.

  I can't wait for the season to begin. Over on the Seattle times and Foxsports Husky forums, these gonads are talking like the last 7 years never happened and all its already a foregone conclusion that with all the talent the teams has and the genious never been a HC coach, that pac 10 titles and rosebowls are possible, THIS YEAR! Oh, I am going to enjoy the excuses when they realize 0-12 doesn't just go away!
